POC requirements: How to help prospective customers get on board quickly.

Here is a shortlist of what we needed to help a prospective customer quickly get on board.
To help with the POC, we absolutely need to have:

  • All the source code of the POC program.

  • The code for all LINKED LIBRARIES.

  • All the related FORMS in POC.

  • FULL INSTRUCTIONS of HOW to BUILD the POC.

  • A list of KEY MAPPINGS used in statements like ON KEY.

  • If they are moving from Hydra, we need ALL the .qxs FILES.

  • The FULL SCHEMA OF DB USED.

  • A RECORDING of the POC project running, with an explanation of EACH STEP TAKEN, (ref: SCENARIO).

  • ALL INITIALIZATION PARAMETERS to allow the running of POC (Including environment and any required data in the database.)

  • ANY TRIGGERS and STORED PROCEDURES needed to run the POC.

  • A SMALL SAMPLE of DATA.

  • IMPORTANT NOTE: The POC code should not be extended during the POC.
