My Application Event Log are filling up with warnings from qxinetd2 and qxmenu services. What should I do?


In the latest Windows OS versions some messages from qxinetd2 and qxmenu services may appear in the Application Event Log under Warning or Information category, with the different Event ID value and may look as follows:

Description:
The description for Event ID 8 from source qxinetd2 cannot be found. Either the component that raises this event is not installed on your local computer or the installation is corrupted. You can install or repair the component on the local computer.
If the event originated on another computer, the display information had to be saved with the event.
The following information was included with the event:
the message resource is present but the message is not found in the string/message table

This is known issue which is observed in the modern Windows OS versions (starting Windows 7).
These warnings do not indicate any problems, does not affect the Hydra operation and they can be safely ignored.
Since it does not affect normal Hydra operation, there is no workaround which is planned for the nearest future.
