Problem
On attempt to launch a Lycia app, the following exception is thrown:
“The error code (-994) was received. Database driver could not be loaded.”
Solution
- Include the path of the driver in the PATH environment variable (env.properties, inet.env, environ.bat)
- Include the path to the Informix SDK Client binaries folder in the PATH environment variable in inet.env: PATH PATH=C:\Program Files\Informix Client-SDK\bin;$PATH
