Working with Hydra projects in Lycia
LYCIA
To work with existing Hydra projects, you need to import them into Lycia workspace. Simple copying will not help as Lycia does not recognize Hydra files.
To import a Hydra project into Lycia workspace:
- Open LyciaStudio.
- In the main menu, click File → Import → 4GL → 'HydraStudio' project
- In the Import dialog, click Browse and select the .qx2 file located in the root folder of your Hydra project.
- Choose the project to be imported into your current workspace or created outside of it.
- Choose the form format: text (default) or graphical.
- Click Finish.
During import, Lycia will create internal files with complete information about the Hydra project.
All source files will be put in the ‘source’ folder, with preserved subfolder structure.
By default, all forms are imported in the text format. Though, you can easily convert them to the graphical format - either by choosing the respective option during the Hydra project import (see step 5 above) or any time later by means of DDE options.
