Installing Lycia on Windows 10: “Access denied”

Problem

On attempt to install Lycia on Windows 10, the "Access denied" error is thrown. You may receive this error even if you are logged in as a user with administrative rights.

Solution

To successfully install Lycia3:
1. Cancel the current installation procedure.
2. Right-click the Lycia3 installer icon and select the “Run as administrator” option.

Installation should complete successfully.
