Checklist for successful development in LyciaStudio

There are certain requirements that must be fulfilled before 4gl developers start working on their programs.
If these requirements are not met, their development efforts might be not successful.

You have located at least 3.5 GD of free hard drive space for Lycia and its components.
Your platform is 64-bit (both for Windows and Linux).
You have all the necessary software installed on your development station:
For example, for Windows it includes
Java Runtime Environment (JRE) 1.8
Google Chrome
You have the successfully installed all the necessary Lycia components:
runtime
4gl compiler
LyciaStudio
Application server
LyciaWeb extension
Web server
Set all the environment variables required by your 4gl project in the project's properties.
For example,
DB_LOCALE
CLIENT_LOCALE
CLASSPATH, etc.
Set all the environment variables required for running your 4gl applications in LyciaStudio:
For example,
LOGNAME
INFORMIXPASS
LYCIA_DB_DRIVER
INFORMIXDIR
INFORMIXSERVER
CLIENT_LOCALE
DB_LOCALE, etc.
